There have been hundreds of thousands of songs written over the years. Many of them are happy, others are sad. Today, there is a huge variety and kinds of songs. Different topics for songs and genres are all in great abundance but do you ever wonder why it is that when you are driving in your car and pop in your CD you usually skip through the tracks until you get to your favorite one and then listen to it over and over? There are a few reasons for this but as I see it, the person who writes the song puts his emotions, feelings, and his soul out into the song to convey a certain message to the listener. A good artist takes lots of time to compose the correct music that will go together with the words that he/she has written. That is why it is easy for people like you and me to see a good song that has good meaning in the lyrics as well as good melody in the music. One of my favorite songs, that I believe has great meaning, is called "What Faith Can Do." This song is written by a Christian band called Kutless for people who are in despair, struggling, and just simply can't get things right in their life. The lyrics of this song provide great encouragement to trust God and have faith in Him and see what your faith in Him can do. There have been numerous responses and comments to this song by people saying that God has really worked in their lives through it. It is great joy when you don't rely on your own understanding but submit yourself to God's will. I believe it is great joy for the artist that God can use him/her as His tool to do His work!
